The Sekkoïa is offering to examine your project: if it meets our criteria and arouses our interest, there is a good chance that we will publish it.
Here are the selection criteria which it is essential for your game to meet in order for us to consider your project.
To come within Sekkoïa's publishing parameters, your game must:
- be a game of strategy
- be based on very simple rules (taking less than one minute to explain)
- be designed for all age groups (both children and their parents or grandparents)
- be fast to play (average duration of a game: 20 minutes)
- be for multiple players (more than two players)
- make people want to play… and play again ! (this is a determining factor for us: interest in the game must be immediate, and if it is necessary to play your game more than twice to appreciate its qualities, it is highly likely that we won't pursue our involvement any further.)
- be something out of the ordinary (in its concept or its presentation)
- be transferable to a digital version : this is a "bonus" but it could make all the difference…
- In terms of intellectual property: Sekkoïa must be able to obtain the publication rights worldwide
If your game meets these publication criteria, this is what you should do :
- Send an outline of your game to SEKKOIA (general description, rules of the game, a photograph of the model if available, the date it was invented, etc.)
You can send us this information by email or by post:
114, bis rue Michel Ange
75016 Paris
You will receive a reply from us within a maximum of one month indicating our level of interest.
- If we are interested in your project, we will ask you to send us a prototype of the game, along with the detailed rules so that we can evaluate it fully.
- If we decide to publish your game we will draw up a publishing contract and we will move on to the production phase.
